Please join us for the wedding of

April 19, 2025 • tulum, Mexico

The ceremony, reception, and other weekend activities will be hosted at Zorba Tulum - a collection of private villas located on the beautiful beaches of Tulum, Mexico. Victoria & Matthew have rented the estate from Thursday-Monday, and will be staying in the villas along with their families and wedding party. The wedding and additional events will be hosted around the property.

We would love for you to come join us for drinks and a swim in Zorba’s private pool and/or beach! The schedule section of our website will be updated closer to the wedding weekend for times that the property will be open to non-Zorba guests.

Zorba is conveniently located in the heart of Tulum in the boutique hotel district. For non-Zorba guests, we recommend accommodation within the vicinity of Zorba - check out our Travel tab for more details and links to accommodation recommendations, ranging from budget-friendly to luxury properties.

CONCIERGE

We have an amazing travel concierge, Helen, that is here to help all of our guests with travel logistics and recommendations.

Her team can help with booking hotels, arranging airport shuttles, booking spa services, booking excursions, activities, and golf tee times around Tulum, and even arranging for a babysitter!

Can I get an Uber or Taxi in Tulum?

There are no Ubers in Tulum, but taxis are plentiful and safe. Make sure you check the price of the ride before you get in - taxis in Tulum do not use meters, and are known to increase the price for tourists. If you think the price is too high, just say no thank you and move on to the next one. Taxis may charge more at night as well.

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Yes! Our travel concierge will be collecting travel details from our guests. For those that would like the added convenience and are willing to split transportation costs, please send the following information to Helen after your airfare has been booked:

Name(s) and # of persons traveling with you:
Phone number & Email of each traveler so we can contact you in case of delays at the airport:
ARRIVAL: Date - Time - Airline – Departure airport – flight number:
DEPARTURE: Date - Time - Airline - flight number:
Hotel in Tulum where you will be staying:
Willing to share the ride with other wedding guests within the hour?
Helen will arrange for private shuttles to/from the airport to your hotels. Shuttles can hold from 1-10 people, and the cost will be split between the guests sharing the shuttle. Helen will group the same time arrivals/departures together and send an email to the group with cost breakdown and payment information.

Yes, plenty! Tulum is known for its beaches, Mayan ruins, cenotes, and nightclubs We highly recommend checking a few of these out while you’re in town! We’ve added a recommended activities section, and a few activities throughout the weekend that the bride & groom would love to see you at. If you need any help at all booking things for the weekend, don’t hesitate to reach out to our complimentary travel concierge, Helen, for help.

Should i be concerned about my safety in a foreign country?

For the most part, Tulum is considered safe, with the biggest threats usually being hurricanes, hangovers, sunburns and mosquitoes. However, no place on Earth is 100% safe, and that is true for Tulum. The area around the wedding venue, where the couple recommends all the guests stay, is extremely safe. Always exercise caution when out and about, and refrain from traveling alone or seeking out illegal substances. The majority of crimes that happen are related to the drug trade.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, you will need a Passport to travel to Mexico. The US Department of State recommends applying for a passport 6-9 months before travel. Most airlines will require a passport that is valid for up to 6 months past the date of completed travel (i.e. the expiration date must be October 2025 or later).
To apply for a new passport, check out this link. To renew an existing one, follow these steps.

Are there any other weekend events i should attend?

There are other events throughout the weekend the bride & groom would love for you to join, however all of them are optional. The weekend schedule can be found in the weekend timeline section and includes additional details, where the bride & groom will be throughout the weekend, and additional activities to check out while you are in Tulum.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is there a way I can find other people traveling around the same time so I can travel in a group or share transportation to/from the airport?

Getting here: Flying into Tulum (TQO) or Cancun (CUN) will be your best options for travel. As an optional added convenience, our travel concierge team will gather your flight details and arrange for a shuttle from either airport with other guests flying in/out around the same time.

Below are the average cost for flights for either option - please note the costs fluctuate considerably day to day, so we highly recommend creating a flight tracker alert to get notified when the flights are more affordable.

It also may be cheaper to fly in a day early and/or leave a day later. While our official wedding events will be on Friday and Saturday, we will be hosting optional activities on Thursday and Sunday for those that would like to join us!
